The University of Memphis has been recognized as having one of the top doctoral programs in business in a recent ranking by gradschoolhub.com. The UofM is the only university in Tennessee to make the list.

Editors selected programs based on admission rates lower than 50 percent, Carnegie classification, faculty citations, specialization options and tuition. In addition to the UofM, universities on the list include Harvard, Duke, Stanford, Washington University in St. Louis, the University of California at Berkeley and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

“The list of the other 24 schools is very impressive,” said Dr. Rajiv Grover, dean of the Fogelman College of Business & Economics. “We’re very honored to receive this recognition.”

In the listing, the editors said of the UofM, “The balanced program aims to teach students both quantitative and qualitative skills in the field, as well as help them grow comfortable with the research process.”
