Free online directory helps local parents enrich the summer for children

As children all over Memphis face the dilemma of summer boredom–or as parents continue scratching their heads about summertime childcare–two citizens have worked to put information about summer offerings in one easy, accessible place.  Scott and Jennifer Ertl, a husband and wife team, have created the Memphis Summer Camps directory.

“We created this resource to help other parents all of the art camps, sports camps, academic camps and specialty camps for their kids,” explains Scott Ertl.

Local area summer camps are able to have their information posted on the website for free. Camps are all screened for legitimacy and updated information by Ertl.

“Our intention is to provide one resource for parents to find the most up-to-date resource of Memphis summer camps in one place. In addition to saving paper, our directory provides a helpful FAQ page for parents who are trying to save money, send their child to camp for the first time, and even for teens who are looking for their first summer job at camp,” says Ertl of the free web-based resouce.
