Allegiant Air brings its no-frills approach to Memphis

Memphis is one of 22 cities in the latest expansion by 18-year-old Las Vegas-based airline.  Allegiant Air specializes in affordable leisure travel.

“It’s an airline that when you buy a ticket from them, all you’re getting is base transportation,” said Seth Kaplan, managing director of Airline Weekly. “Everything else is extra, but if you play the game right you can save money.”

  • Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) with fares as low as $66** 
  • Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS) with fares as low as $80**
