Beale Street recognized for ‘changing music history’
Beale Street made Rolling Stone’s list of “Six Streets that Changed Music History.” The famed district is often cited as the original home of the Blues, but is also at the heart of jazz, R&B and gospel music. “Perhaps more so than any other area in the country, Beale Street has been recognized for its contribution to music history.”
