Where’s Memphis’ Harlem?
There’s Overton Square. There’s Broad. There’s the South Main District. There’s Cooper Young. There’s Crosstown. Where is Memphis’ predominately black creative neighborhood? Community LIFT and Hattiloo Theatre have invited local artists and all of those interested in creative placemaking to join one another in an open forum on Sept. 24 from 6 to 7:30 P.M. at the theatre to discuss the possibility of a black creative neighborhood, where it could be, andhow it can be fostered.
