Area startup receives mention fro New York Times

Local startup Lesouque, an online seller of globally sourced accessories and home goods, and its co-founder Gokben Yamandag were featured in a New York Times story over the week examining a nation-wide rejection of “Black Friday.” The company closed its website for the day as part of a “break up with Black Friday” campaign, and it won’t offer any discounts during the holiday season.
