Shelby Farms’ playground receives national recognition
Shelby Farms is receiving a national highlight through its Woodland Discovery Playground, which has been spotlighted for the American Society of Landscape Architects’ online exhibition “Designing Our Future: Sustainable Landscapes”. The playground, which was resurrected from a dilapidated 20-year old playground, has been deemed an example of “sustainable landscape design and its positive effects on the environmental quality of life.”
