Bartlett

The City of Bartlett began as the final stage stop on the route to Nashville. Incorporated in 1866, it remained a primarily rural township until the 1970s. Today, Bartlett is the 10th largest city in Tennessee, with an estimated 58,264 people and 32.3 square miles. It’s ranked in the top 100 places to live by CNN and Money Magazine and boasts a thriving business community, award-winning school system, and numerous faith communities. The city is also home to Youth Villages Bartlett Campus, currently under a $22 million expansion.

New workforce training facility to be built in Bartlett

A new 55,000-square-foot training facility in Bartlett is in the design phase for the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Memphis (TCAT Memphis), which provides workforce development training for the local manufacturing industries.

Accelerator programs hosted by organizations such as EPICenter Memphis, Memphis Bioworks and Start Co., help entrepreneurs launch businesses and   connect them with pathways to capital. To date, EPICenter has raised more than $16 million in capital.
Memphis Money: Investment pipeline for startups has room for improvement
