Know Before You Test

• Do not go to the ER or call an ambulance to get a COVID-19 test.
• Memphians who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have a known exposure are strongly encouraged to call in advance to schedule a testing appointment.
• Some testing sites require appointments, while others accept walk-in patients. Other sites may be open only on certain days of the week. Check the City of Memphis list of testing sites with interactive map for more information.
• There may be a fee for some COVID-19 tests ― depending on the type of test, location, and insurance status ― but in most cases, testing is free.
• CVS only tests adults ages 18+. Sign up now for a test at any CVS location.
• Walgreens will test adults and children ages 3+. Sign up now for a test at any Walgreens location.
