The 14th Annual Vermilion Ice A Fair on Feb. 4 promises a chance to watch sculptors coax art out of blocks of ice, learn about local history, play games on a frozen field, and more.

The Erie County Parking Garage, which offers free 48-hour parking, is an underutilized resource, says Arin Blair, Sandusky's chief planner. The street parking around it comes with a two-hour limit, but, at least for now, that isn't strictly enforced.
