It’s Read Across America Month, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by curling up under a tree in Overton Park with a good book!
Join Literacy Mid-South in Overton Park on Saturday, March 21 for their second annual Reading Flash Mob. Bring the family, a book, and snacks and join other readers on the lawn from 11am-1pm. This event is free and open to the public. Bring a blanket, some lunch, and a great book and help us cover the park with readers. Literacy Mid-South will also have free books on hand to give away to kids!
Rain date is March 27th from 10:00am-1:00pm
