Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The FedEx Institute of Technology will partner with the Memphis Technology Foundation to host Memphis Tech Talks, an evening of lightning talks from technology innovators on June 16.

The event, which is free and open to the public, is an opportunity to meet local experts in programming languages, hardware development, emerging technologies and other technology innovations.

The FedEx Institute says it is “committed to building a technology innovation environment in Memphis that encourages the exchange of ideas from researchers, industry professionals and passionate individuals with a wide variety of expertise.”

The FedEx Institute of Technology continues to build its community partnerships, which are a critical element in positioning it as a hub for technology research and development. The Institute enjoys a unique innovation partnership with FedEx, which sponsors the Institute for advanced research purposes.

The event will be at 6:30 p.m. in The Zone and includes a light dinner for attendees. Register here. Those with an idea for a lightning talk may submit their proposals at techtalks@memphistechnology.org.
